Me...starting a blog? What will be next?

Can I just say that I really do not understand this whole concept of blogging? A part of me doesn't trust the system. I guess I can say anything...it is a blog! I finally feel my circumstances compelling me to begin this, whatever it is. I have no idea who will read it. Maybe no one. Why would you want to unless you are a family member or close friend? Even if you are that, why would you want to read it? I don't intend to offer you much of anything, only stories of life, stories of faith, stories of a journey that is taking me in places I have yet to think or imagine--stories of my life. Of course, I'd much rather sit with you by the crackling fire with a cup of hot cocoa then endeavor to share life with you from thousands of miles away by means of cyberspace. It is so impersonal and so flat. But, hey, I live in Korea and old relationships are so hard to keep when I'm so so far way. Maybe I can offer you, friends and family, a view into a world I'm learning about and growing into. Maybe this format can foster connection and communication in a new way. That is my hope. So here I go, starting a new blog. I'm one of millions around the world today surcumbing to the hottest electronic wave of communication. What will be next?
