This week I was a house sitter. I had so much space!
A friend and I got together to bake a cake and make Christmas candy. Yuling is the girl I met on the plane as she was arriving to KC and the USA...from Shainghai and I was returning from CA. This is what Americans do during the holidays--we make sweet treats. Yuling baked, frosted and decorated her first cake ever. It has been years since I've had a holiday goody baking night. It felt great to share it with someone who is learning about American culture.
